Gisele Bundchen Weds for Second Time

The couple was first married in a very private ceremony February 26 at St. Monica Catholic Church in Los Angeles. But, the couple wed for a second time last weekend in the Nicoya Peninsula region of Costa Rica, where the Brazilian beauty owns a home. They exchanged vows in a short sunset ceremony in Santa Theresa, a coastal town.

The bride, in a long designer dress and a veil that trailed 10 feet, held a bouquet of white orchids, “looked so gorgeous,” a source says. “She looked beautiful.” “[Gisele's] dress and veil were designed by John Galliano and created by John Galliano’s atelier in Paris,” a rep for the designer told People magazine.
The supermodel wore “a white silk satin bias cut long gown with spaghetti straps and train, with scalloped seamed details around the hip,” the rep said. Even the bride’s veil was quite a design achievement. “The white silk tulle veil was six feet long with white lace sewn by hand,” the rep added.
Security guards blocked off key access points to Gisele Bundchen’s house in Santa Teresa, where 25 or so guests gathered under a tent set up on the home’s balcony. After the ceremony, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, 31, in a gray suit and vest with white pants, held his 1 ½-year-old son John (whose mom is Bridget Moynahan) on the balcony and spoke with guests like Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots. The Brazilian supermodel Bündchen, 28, also hugged guests while friends and relatives snapped photos. They all seemed “very happy, like they were having a great time,” says one onlooker.
That afternoon, Bündchen got dressed at the nearby Hotel Flor Blanca while workers readied her home. Around 4:30 p.m. Bündchen and other guests raced back to her home just in time for the sunset nuptials.
Earlier that day, Brady hosted a bachelor’s brunch for the men in his entourage at the luxurious Milarepa hotel, where guests dined from a menu designed especially by the American chef. Meanwhile Bündchen entertained female guests and went over last-minute wedding details at her home.
However, their wedding day was not 100% happy and peaceful. Agence France-Presse photographer Yuri Cortes and Rolando Aviles of Costa Rican newspaper Al Dia claim Bundchen’s bodyguards tried to seize their cameras’ memory cards and shot at their car when they drove away. Nobody was hurt. Judicial police spokesman Margarita Morales said Tuesday that her agency was investigating their complaints.
Don Yee is Brady’s agent. He has said security personnel reported having no knowledge of the incident.
