Kevin Jonas Has Engagement Party

She’s a former hairdresser, he’s a famous singer. Kevin Jonas and fiancée Danielle Deleasa celebrated their new engagement with a party this weekend (Saturday July 4).
Reports have revealed that the family affair took place in Los Angeles, at the future groom’s favorite pizza parlor with around 30 guests, including their family, closest friends, his band mates and siblings, Nick and Joe.

This engagement party came just three days after the Jonas Brothers heart-throb arrived in New Jersey on an overnight flight from a concert in Vancouver and surprised his girlfriend Danielle Deleasa by showing up at her doorstep early in the morning and dropping down to his knee to ask her to marry him. The famous 21 years old singer gave her a stunning $75,000 cushion-cut diamond ring that he designed with luxury jewelers Jacob & Co. Angela Arabo, Jacob & Co. vice president. Angela Arabo, Jacob’s wife told Radar Online, “It was such a pleasure to collaborate with Kevin and create the perfect engagement ring for him. He and Danielle are truly in love and we’re so happy for the two of them.” The gem is “a three-carat cushion-cut diamond set in platinum above double shank band with 210 round pave diamonds.” So it’s not a surprise for anyone that Deleasa couldn’t believe what was happening.

It seems that the pop star has his family blessing as his parents, Kevin Sr. and Denise Jonas, said they were “filled with joy”: “Kevin and Danielle have not yet set a date. Family is very dear to us, and we hope we have raised Kevin to be a wonderful man and husband. Please join us in our family’s celebration and in congratulating Kevin and Danielle. Thank you for all of your support.”
The oldest of the Jonas Brothers fell in love with his 22 years old future bride two years ago, in May of 2007 while vacationing with their families in the Bahamas.
