Mario Lopez Plans To Marry Mother of His Baby
The American actor who became famous for his appearances in several television series, in films, and on Brodway is best known as A.C. Slater from Saved By The Bell. His acting career didn’t stop here though and Lopez got involved in many projects, such as the 2006-2007 season of Dancing with the Stars, the syndicated entertainment news magazine show Extra and MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew which he now hosts.
But after years of focusing on his career, Mario Lopez has other priorities now. The fact that he will become a father soon changed his perspective on life and he is even thinking of making the next step towards living the happy life of a married man. According to Us Magazine, Lopez plans to wed his pregnant girlfriend Courtney Mazza. He and girlfriend Courtney Mazza are reportedly planning on tying the knot soon as she’s also pregnant with the couple’s first child, and is due in September. “That’s on the way,” the 36-year-old actor told the magazine at the Juno Baby Launch party at The Four Seasons in Beverly Hills Sunday.”We have a big year this year because she moved out here,” continued the Extra host. “We got a new house, a new dog, new baby… so it’s on the way. There is no rush. It’s exciting.” “I’m at a great place and I am blessed to have Courtney in my life and I’m blessed with everything that is going on and I’m really happy,” added Lopez.
Lopez and 28-year-old Broadway dancer Courtney Laine Mazza met while co-starring on Broadway’s Chorus Line in New York City in 2008. Since then they’ve been together without ups and downs and on March 10, 2010, the news came out that they are expecting a baby. It seems that they don’t want to know the sex of the baby yet but she thinks “a boy!” Lopez, however, thinks, “it’s a girl.” Anyway, they are looking forward to becoming parents at the end of September. They even thought about the baby’s name: “I’m not into the crazy Hollywood baby names at all!” he told Us. “I’m definitely not going to do a Jr. I don’t like that either. which is weird because in my culture, they do it a lot. We are going to try and keep names within our culture and go a little bit classic, but not anything crazy.”
However, until the baby comes, Lopez is taking very good care of his bride-to-be. “I take care of her and treat her like a princess and get her anything she wants. I try to feed her all the time because I want a real healthy fat baby. I have a trainer and I work out with her and I walk my dog a lot. I watch what I eat but I don’t deprive myself. The hardest thing to stay away from is bread and carbs.”
Anyway, Mario Lopez has been married before to Ali Landry six years ago, but the marriage was annulled. He also dated Karina Smirnoff his DWTS partner from 2006-2008 but true love he found with Mazza.
