Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo Patch Things Upon
After being spotted getting cosy in clubs, hot Hollywood couple Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo has officially reunited.
After nearly three years of dating, the couple split in June, but beginning in late August, sightings began cropping up of them together at nightclubs across the country (if you remember, they were spotted kissing, making out and dancing together at Los Angeles bar Dime) – and in some instances they were engaged in some heavy PDA. Moreover, Nick Lachey (co-owner of the just-launched auction site winnit.com as part of its “Everybody Wins Tour,” benefiting Feeding America) told Us Weekly in September, “We’re trying to figure things out. I don’t pretend to know what the future holds, but everything’s good. Vanessa’s a good girl, and I care about her a lot.” At the time, sources told People magazine that Lachey, 35, and Minnillo, 25, were merely “hanging out” and they were not officially back together.
And now, their recent hanging out seems to have paid some results, as Nick finally confirmed to Good Day Philadelphia that they were back together. “I am happy in a relationship. I was single for a minute, there, and then we’ve kind of patched things up.” Lachey also described Minnillo as “a very smart girl. She’s far smarter than I!”
For now, Nick Lachey is touring the country in a bus for reverse auction site Winnit.com, but Vanessa hasn’t joined him yet, as it appears she is very busy working on her own projects.
Furthermore, according to People magazine, their relationship remains a work in progress: “They’ve always had a lot of love for each other, but they took a little break, and now they’re working on their relationship,” says a source to the magazine.
Let’s hope though that the second time around will work for these two!
