Shayne Lamas Got Married, Tara Reid Called Off Her Wedding
The reality star and daughter of Falcon Crest and Renegade star Lorenzo Lamas, Shayne Lamas caught the attention of the press when she got engaged after a whirlwind romance on The Bachelor in 2008. She won the 12th season of the show, but the relationship with The Bachelor Matt Grant did not work out and they’ve parted ways, only for Shayne to meet THE ONE - Nik Richie.
The courtship was very brief. They’ve met a week ago, and now they’ve tied the knot over the weekend at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, as a source confirmed to People magazine. It seems that their wedding ceremony was “beautiful” and that the legal ceremony lasted about 10 minutes. The 25-year-old actress, who has appeared in the soap opera “General Hospital” has chosen the founder of the website TheDirty.com to be her loyal loving husband for good and for worse without thinking twice. Nobody knows if they going to annul the marriage, but for now, they seem very happy to have done this big step in their relationship.
They’ve both tweeted on Monday the confirmation of their nuptial posting the same message: “I am more than happy to confirm last night I got married to an amazing person and we are extremely excited to share our lives together.” Lamas’s husband also tweeted “married,” while she chose the word “wife.” TMZ.com reports that the newlyweds celebrated their marriage at the Vegas club Vanity. Snitches say Shayne met Nik on Saturday night and married him within the next 24 hours. According to a chapel tattle, Shayne and Nik purchased the $519 “Michael Jordan Package,” which includes 36 professional photos and a DVD of the ceremony. The bridal party included Richie’s employee Ari Golden and American Idol “swimsuit girl,” Casey Carlson. It looks like the bride showed off her ring while at the club, and the couple drank champagne before leaving together hand-in-hand. Ari Golden posted a message on his Twitter page on Monday: “How come thedirty.com won’t load? (Nik married Shayne Lamas last night. Servers overloaded!)”
