People magazine reports that he is now happier than he’s been in years.
Who is his fiancée? Her name is Mezghan Hussainy. She is the show’s makeup artist and has 36 years old. She has been spotted by paparazzi sporting a large diamond ring on her left hand lately, reigniting speculation that the music mogul had finally found his match for life. They met on “American Idol” several years ago and what began as friendship grew into love after Simon’s previous relationship ended.

Cowell’s rep tried to explain the secret of their happy relationship and suggested, somehow, why they are heading to pledge their love vows: “They have known each other for years. They’ve actually been going out together for the last year. She knows him; she’s been around him. So, she knows the person he is, and he knows the person she is. That’s why it works so well.”
This will be the first marriage for Cowell and the second for his bride-to-be.
