Ladies and gentlemen, Donald Faison is off the market and this time is for real! The comedian Donald Faison, who makes us laugh every day by playing Dr. Chris Turk in the ABC comedy-drama “Scrubs” has found his match. He married longtime girlfriend, Cacee Cobb, during a romantic, inti8mate and beautiful ceremony.
After six years of peaceful relationship, the 38-years-old actor has made the final step and said ‘I do’ to Cobb Saturday night at the Los Angeles home of his best friends and “Scrubs” costar, Zach Braff. Us Weekly reports that the beautiful bride, whom you might remember from appearances on shows with Jessica Simpson (she is a longtime friend and former personal assistant to Jessica), invited the Simpson family to the event. Jessica Simpson, who is supposedly pregnant with her second child, was a bridesmaid and wore a gorgeous full-length black gown with matched high heels and a bouquet of red roses. The curvier fashion icon was pictured walking down the aisle at the arm of Braff, who was a groomsman at the ceremony. Younger sister Ashlee Simpson and their parents, Joe and Tina who are divorced also attended the event and partied all night long with the bride and groom in their specially decorated tent.
Cobb, 35, looked outstanding in a white, traditional wedding gown. She didn’t had a sophisticated hairdo, she went for natural look and she was more than cute when she posed with her hubby with props during a photo booth session. This is the first marriage for Cobb, who got engaged to Faison in August last year and fell irremediably in love with his children (he was previously married to Lisa Askey, with whom he has three children and he also has a son from a previous relationship). At the time of their engagement, Faison, who is now starring on “The Exes,” was inspired by one of Beyoncé’s hits and Tweeted, “If you like it then you better put a Ring on it,” and his then bride-to-be replied, “If she likes it then she better say YES!!” Well, now they will toast for the end of this year as husband and wife as they did put a ring on each other’s fingers and exchanged vows in front of God, family and best friends.
After the ceremony, Cobb, Faison and their guests had plenty of fun on the backyard of Braff’s property; they ate, drank and danced until sunrise. It was a special night not only for the happy newlyweds, but for their guests too, as groomsman Joshua Radin posted a photo of himself with Faison and Braff in their tuxedos on Tweeter, writing “What a happy day…” Braff also shared several Twitter photos from the wedding, so you can understand now how much fun comedian actors can have at such an event.
Congrats to the happy couple!
