Pregnant Lily Allen Married Sam Cooper

Lily Allen smiled the entire weekend and she had very good reasons for that: the 26-year-old British singer married her fiancé on Saturday and the couple is expecting a baby.
Lily chose a village church near her country home in Gloucestershire, England for the ceremony, so Sam Cooper waited for her at St. James the Great Church in Cranham, near Stroud. Two roads, five footpaths and three bridleways around the village were closed during the wedding. The service was attended by fewer than 100 guests, who included comedians Harry Enfield and Angus Deayton and former T4 presenter Miquita Oliver, a childhood friend, was one of her bridesmaids.

The expectant bride, who walked down the aisle in a Delphine Manivet gown and Sanderson’s skyscraper Hydra pumps, was given away by her father, actor and musician Keith Allen. Her dress, designed by the Parisian designer, had long lace sleeves, a fishtail skirt and a sweetheart neckline. “It’s beautiful that she is pregnant, and I am very happy for her. She is very happy about that – it is something wonderful,” Manivet told British paper The Telegraph. “For me, and for her too, when you’re pregnant you want to show that, but also be respectful, so the dress was perfect for her for that moment.”

As for the shoes she wore, Lily got on the cover of many bridal magazines. The bride chose not one but two pairs of custom-made shoes from British designer Rupert Sanderson: for the ceremony – a pair of Hydra towering peep-toe shoes made of a mixture of iridescent pearled suedes and boasting a 5½-in. heel; for the evening party at her home in the Cotswolds, which had an ‘English cricket and afternoon tea’ theme – Rossini flats.
As she made her way out of the church with her new husband to a waiting car as a crowd cheered, Lily carried a bouquet of white roses and a long veil.

Lily and Sam began dating in the summer of 2009. They got engaged while vacationing in Indonesia in December, but they didn’t actually follow the regular course of a relationship. As we all know, first comes love, then marriage, than baby carriage, but for them, the last two steps came altogether. But for Lily didn’t count that she was a pregnant bride, she is extremely happy that things happened this way and that she had no problem so far with the pregnancy as she did with her last one. For those who don’t know this, here’s an update: in November last year, Lily suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage, her second and shortly thereafter she was hospitalized with septicemia, a dangerous infection characterized by the presence of bacteria in the blood.
